Painting in the Ivinghoe Hills

A day painting in the impressive village and hills of Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire. The village itself has an interesting history dating back to the Anglo-Saxons. Painting opportunities in the village include the Norman church, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings, the old windmill and the watermill. However, within a short walk the famous sites such as Ivinghoe Beacon, Steps Hill and Incombe Hole can be reached for some dramatic Chalk scenery. If wet, an indoor venue can be arranged for painting, after we have made our field sketches. There is B&B available locally.

Dates: in June (tbd)

Cost: £25, 10 am to 4.30 pm
